Women’s Health Physical Therapy
Our bodies carry us through pregnancy, childbirth, and full lives. When those changes bring symptoms that are often dismissed as “normal,” specialized physical therapy can make a meaningful difference.

Women’s Health Physical Therapy
At Proliance Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation, our Women’s Health Physical Therapy program provides specialized care for pregnancy-related symptoms, postpartum recovery, and pelvic floor concerns for women in Bellevue and throughout the greater Puget Sound region.
We carefully assess how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, explain what is happening in your body, and create a personalized plan to help you feel confident and strong again.
Women’s Health Physical Therapy
Women’s Health Physical Therapy is a specialized area of care designed to support women during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and throughout life.
Pelvic health requires training beyond standard physical therapy education. Our therapists have completed advanced coursework in women’s pelvic health, allowing us to approach your concerns with both skill and sensitivity.
With a strong orthopedic foundation and specialized expertise in pelvic health, we understand how the core, hips, and pelvic floor work together. Every treatment plan is thoughtful, individualized, and guided by your comfort and goals.
Meet Your Care Team
Michelle Frazier, PT, DPT, COMT
Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health from the University of Washington and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. She also completed a year-long orthopedic manual therapy residency through the Ola Grimsby Institute and earned her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT).
Michelle holds a specialty focus in pelvic floor rehabilitation, including pregnancy and postpartum care. Whether you’re navigating the changes of pregnancy, recovering after birth, or dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, she is here to provide compassionate, evidence-based support through every stage.
She uses a combination of hands-on techniques, movement retraining, and patient education to help women gain confidence in their bodies and take ownership of their recovery. Certified through AAMT, she is continuing to expand her skill set in dry needling to better serve her patients across the Eastside.
Her goal is to empower women with the tools and knowledge needed for long-term independence, not long-term reliance on therapy.
Outside the clinic, Michelle enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing with her husband, and playing with their Scottish terrier, Milo.

Understanding the Pelvic Floor
Understanding the Pelvic Floor
Pregnancy, childbirth, aging, and physical strain can affect how these muscles function. When coordination or strength changes, symptoms such as leakage, pressure, discomfort, or weakness can occur.
Targeted pelvic floor rehabilitation helps restore proper muscle coordination, strength, and control.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Your first visit begins with a conversation.
We understand these topics can feel personal, and we approach them with care and compassion. Our therapists take time to listen, answer questions, and explain your options. Treatment plans may include:
- Pelvic floor strengthening
- Manual therapy
- Scar tissue treatment
- Core retraining
- Guidance for returning to exercise and daily activity
*Internal pelvic floor assessment is available when appropriate. It is not required for every patient and is always based on your comfort and consent. Every care plan is personalized. There is no pressure, no assumptions, and no judgment.
Who Can Benefit from Women’s Health Physical Therapy?
Many women quietly adjust to symptoms they have been told are normal. While these experiences are common, they are often signs that your pelvic floor needs support.
Consider Women’s Health Physical Therapy if:
- You avoid certain exercises because of leakage
- You feel pressure, heaviness, or bulging in your pelvis
- You continue to experience pain after pregnancy
- You have lingering sensitivity or discomfort around a C-section scar
- You rush to the bathroom and worry you may not make it in time
- You experience bowel changes, including constipation or loss of control
- You experience discomfort or pain with intimacy
- You have adjusted to symptoms you were told are “normal,” but continue to affect your life
Every woman deserves to feel strong, supported, and confident in her body. Reach out to our team today to schedule a consultation.
