Kathryn K.O. Falso

Kathryn K.O. Falso, MSPT joined the Proliance Sports Therapy of Issaquah team in April of 2004. She grew up in central Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse PT program, receiving her MSPT degree in 1998. Since then, Kathryn has been providing outpatient orthopedic care in the greater Seattle area. While attending a continuing education course on lower back pain and dysfunction, she discovered the significance of teaching patients how to recruit the deep abdominal and back extensor muscles as a strategy for breaking the cycle of chronic lower back pain.†Following this with Stott Pilates training further enhanced her ability to share mind/body awareness with patients as a crucial part of complete recovery after any injury.†Kathryn plans to focus on continuing to build her manual therapy techniques through coursework in the immediate future.†To stay active when not working, Kathryn participates in running, volleyball, hiking, and downhill skiing. She is also a Green Bay Packer enthusiast.

Sukanya Pyne

Sukanya Pyne, DPT,MPH graduated from the College of St Catherine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2003. She then went to Washington University in St Louis, Missouri where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2006. Since then, she has been practicing outpatient physical therapy at hospitals and private orthopedic settings in Chicago, IL. Being interested in global health, Sukanya continued to earn a Masterís degree in Public Health from Northwestern University while working in the Chicago area. Her clinical interest and focus has always been in outpatient orthopedics, neurological impairments, runnerís assessment, geriatrics, and sports. Sukanya believes in continuity in education and sharing knowledge, which is why she has been a clinical instructor since 2008. Her treatment philosophy is all about her patients and providing them with excellent care with every visit. She works with her patients together to optimize all their functional goals. Besides works, she has been volunteering at local organizations to organize fund raising event to help improve education and healthcare for underprivileged children.

Emily Windham

Emily Windham, PT, DPT completed her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of South Alabama. She has clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy and utilizes hands-on therapy techniques including instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) to aid in the regeneration of healthy soft tissue. She also believes that quality movement is crucial to properly heal after an injury and prescribes individualized exercises for strength, stability, and flexibility. Emily strives to help each patient reach his/her individual goals and to assist in returning all of her patients to their highest level of function. Outside of the clinic, Emily loves exploring the Pacific Northwest, running, hiking, and practicing yoga.

Laura Browne

Laura Browne, DPT completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Seattle Pacific University in 2011 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Eastern Washington University in 2014. Her interest in the human body and biomechanics began in high school as she worked with physical therapists to overcome various sports injuries. She now enjoys developing individualized treatment programs, utilizing a combination of manual therapy techniques, exercise and patient education, to help her patients overcome their movement dysfunction. She has a passion for helping her patients develop personalized goals so they can return to pursuing the sports and activities of life they love. While completing her DPT degree at EWU, Laura researched variation in acceleration of thoracic spinal manipulation. She has a passion for treating the spine, shoulder and other orthopaedic injuries and is currently working on further developing her manual therapy skills. As a Seattle area native, Laura enjoys spending her free time hiking, skiing, swimming and running, as well as traveling with her husband and exploring the outdoors with her family and dog, Zulu.

Robyn Yamaguchi

Robyn Yamaguchi, PTA joined the Proliance Issaquah team in 2002 while first working as an aide and a part-time medical assistant with a physicians office. In 2010, she became a licensed PTA after graduating from Green River Community College. She also graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a Psychology degree. Robyn enjoys working with a variety of orthopedic patients, but especially enjoys working with post-surgical patients and sports related injuries. Robyn grew up on Oahu, Hawaii and moved to Washington in 1997. While she enjoys spending time with family and friends, she also enjoys snowboarding, skiing, hiking, traveling, and watching sports.

Andrea Stoner

Andrea Stoner, PTA joined Proliance Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation in January of 2008. She moved from western Ohio where she grew up and attended Rhodes State College and received her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree in 2007. Andrea enjoys working with orthopedic and sport specific injuries, being a recreational athlete. She likes to work with patients to get them back to pre-injury status and takes pride in instructing patients in proper exercise techniques and progressions to avoid re-injury. When not working as a PTA, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, her two dogs, skiing, snowboarding, softball, and rooting on the Michigan Wolverines.

Stephanie Yakobina

Stephanie Yakobina, MA OTR/L, CHT received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994 at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and completed a Hand Therapy Fellowship at Texas Womenís University in Houston, Texas in 1998. She has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2001 and received her Masterís degree in Advanced Hand Therapy at Texas Womenís University in 2009. In 2007, Stephanie was the recipient of the Presidential Award, the President Gold Award, and the Outstanding Committee Member Award for her contributions to the American Society of Hand Therapists. She believes in providing excellent customer care by empowering her clients through education. She has been working with Proliance since February 2012. Her interests include biking, hiking, matchmaking, and traveling.

Sheila Yakobina

Sheila Yakobina, MA OTR/L, CHT graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and in 1998, completed a Hand Therapy Fellowship at Texas Womenís University in Houston, Texas. She has been working as a hand therapist since 1998 and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2001. She obtained her Masterís degree in Advanced Hand Therapy at Texas Womenís University in 2009. In 2007, Sheila was the recipient of the Presidential Award, the President Gold Award, and the Outstanding Committee Member Award for her contributions to the American Society of Hand Therapists. In 2012, she began working at Proliance. She believes in making therapy fun, positive, and an educational experience. Her interests include international cooking, biking, traveling, and reading.

Julie Ellenberger

Julie Ellenberger, M.S. OTR/L received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1998 at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. She received her Masterís of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2001 at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Julie has recently relocated from Southern California where she received advanced credentialing in Hand Therapy and Physical Agent Modalities. She has been working as an Occupational Therapist with a specialty in Hand and Upper extremity injuries since 2001. Her interests include reading and spending time with her family, hiking, and camping.

Jolene A.M. Schneider

Jolene A.M. Schneider, MOTR/L, CHT graduated in 1999 from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her Masters of Occupational Therapy. After working in various areas of the occupational therapy field, Jolene was certified in Functional Ergonomics and ASTYM; she became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2014. She has been employed by Proliance since March 2014. Jolene has always had an appreciation and respect for the intricate machinery that is our bodies, in particular the hands. She has a passion for helping others regain their ability to perform activities that they once enjoyed, and strives to create a relaxed, lighthearted therapeutic environment. Outside of the workplace, Jolene lives with her husband, daughter, and basset hounds. She enjoys biking, cooking, traveling, and papercrafting.
